I don’t have too many Hot Toys with rubber but AOU Hulk is still going strong and looks good. I've also learned that buying statues is the easy part displaying them properly is much harder. I always recommend applying a small amount in an unnoticeable area and try it out. On the other hand, you take any limited edition statue and there will be fewer every year because people inevitably break them moving, dropping them, accidents etc. Got a confirmation email that the order was placed. The condition on Hot Toys is somewhat fleeting-they use better materials than most 1:6 manufacturers but they can still deteriorate in the box. But that removable head - face expression (the one above the grapple gun) looks weird. I would rather own a Captain America fig than a Chris Evans in a costume. ![]() Hot Toys mostly works off movies and only dabbled in some comics related material lately thanks to the video games. Hot Toys has pretty much set the standard for pricing and quality in the 1/6 game, and lately, I feel theyve been taking advantage of this. Personally, it comes down to the source material. Sideshow also has a monopoloy on them in the US, so they always charge more than what they would cost you if you lived in Hong Kong, and bought them directly from the store.
